The Hi-KAD symbol
It refers to that a special formulation with the KAD (Kojic Acid Dipalmitate) blended above the prescribed high concentration ratio.
“Inhibit the generation” of melanin by Kojic Dipalmitate and “Discharge” of existing melanin by retinol. The invincible combination against spots and melasma.
Retinol
Retinol is an essential ingredient to smooth and firm up the skin. It’s formulated at the best balance with mainly pure retinol and other two retinols, linoleic acid retinol and palmitic acid retinol.
Kojic Dipalmitate
Kojic Acid is a widely known proven brightening ingredient. Yet it is chemically unstable for use in skincare products. Kojic Dipalmitate (KAD) is a kojic acid derivative, which is chemically stable by combining Kojic acid with fatty acid to overcome the problem of Kojic Acid. KAD is oil soluble, easy to blend into the skin. KAD offers several skin benefits, primarily related to skin brightening and even tone. It helps reduce the appearance of dark spots, age spots, and hyperpigmentation by inhibiting melanin production. Additionally, it can improve skin texture, boost collagen production, and offer antioxidant protection.
Panthenol
